In front of the tourist hotels of Pafos lies the narrow beach of Pachyammos Bay. Easily accessible, the sandy beach has restaurants and bars as well as watersports and sunbeds. |

Phinikoudes Beach
Perhaps the best known beach in all of Cyprus, Phinikoudes (which means little palm trees) is a long expanse of fine sand right on the edge of Larnaca. As such it benefits from all the facilities you would expect to find, from Life Guards, watersports and sun beds to restaurants, cafes and shops. Good for swimming, the sea here is usually calm and clear. |

Pissouri Bay
A lovely beach of fine golden sand with pretty pebbles and clear water sheltered on each side by white cliffs. The beach can boast free facilities such as toilets and showers and is well served by hotels, restaurants and cafes. |

Protoras Beach
A very popular, long sandy beach. Good for families, it has all the restaurants, cafes, water sports and beach facilities you would expect. |

Salamis
Near Famagusta you will find the sheltered lagoon of the lovely Salamis beach. Snorkelling is highly recommended here, not only for the fish you will see in the clear water, but also because you can see the remains of ancient Salamis harbour. |

A sheltered cove with good snorkelling, Skoutari is slightly off the beaten track but well worth a visit.
