The Space:
This is the upper level unit of a duplex featuring 2 bedrooms, eat-in kitchen, bathroom and living room. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and closet.
A queen blow up bed can be provided to sleep 6. A pack n play can also be provided upon request. Kitchen is stocked with coffee and other basic cooking supplies to enjoy meals at home| There is a shared laundry room available to use in the basement, at no additional cost. Both units are non-smoking. Guest Access: This listing is for a private 2 bedroom unit in a duplex- this unit is on the first floor of the duplex.
The entry to the unit is private. There is a shared parking lot for the duplex and a neighboring home- and you would have one designated parking spot to use in the lot. Street parking is also available Interaction with Guests: My wife and I live close by and are available for any questions or if you are looking for recommendations! The Neighborhood: The home is in the Midtown neighborhood- located just south of downtown Minneapolis.
It is a densely populated, diverse area with a population of people from many nationalities. Our neighborhood is in the heart of the city and is a mix of homes, apartment buildings, and businesses. We are also just a 10 minute walk to the Midtown Global Market- home to many different restaurants and small shops- and a brewery! We love our neighborhood because of the many restaurants and breweries nearby as well as close proximity to other vibrant neighborhoods- and hope you love it too! Just 1|5 miles away from both Downtown and Uptown. 1.5 miles from US Bank Stadium 20 minute drive to the Mall of America and the airport| Blocks to Abbott Northwestern and Children's Hospital Getting Around: Public transportation is very close- the house is located on a bus line and is a short walk to the Chicago-Lake Transit Center with access to multiple bus routes. Uber and Lyft are also widely available- an Uber ride to downtown Minneapolis is about $7. Minneapolis is a bike-friendly city with bike lanes built into many streets; and the Midtown Greenway is a short ride away! Other Things to Note: Smoking is not permitted in the home| The home is across the street from a hospital and a somewhat busy, local street (just two lanes). The noise does quiet down at night. We have exterior cameras and noise monitoring software inside the home(it monitors decibel and CO2 levels)| House Rules: • No smoking • No pets • Check-in is anytime after 3PM
