It’s mostly residential with a few of the city’s better tavernas and some small squares lined by cafes.

You’ll see everything from grandmothers to college students, punk rockers and families in this neighborhood! ★ Athens ★ The ancient, beautiful city of Athens is one of the world’s oldest dating back more than 3,400 years. Ancient ruins are still in evidence today, and the city is home to two UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Acropolis and the medieval Daphni Monastery. The apartment is located next to the National Archaeological Museum which contains artifacts dating to 6,000 B|C. The Victoria, Panepistimio, and Omonia metro stations are a short walk from the apartment and museum. The Epigraphic Museum is adjacent to the Archaeological Museum and can be visited by a two-for-one ticket.
