The apartment is just a few minutes from the National Archeological Museum, one of the country's best museums. Check out its surrounding neighborhood famous for its history of counter-culture, graffiti and street art as well as some of the city's best tavernas| Syntagma Square, Athen's Central Square, is about 20 minutes' walk. The Syntagma Metro Station, one of the busiest in the city as it's a major hub, has archeological exhibitions inside the station with artifacts unearthed during the excavations to build metro tunnels. The Byzantine and Christian Museum is about 20 minutes by public transportation or 28 minutes walk| Roman Forum is less than 30 minutes by public transportation or walking.
