The Da Silva Surfcamp is a typical Portuguese country house in a quiet location with a wonderful view over the countryside to the sea. Twice a day a shepherd with his flock of sheep passes by here, in the morning one is woken up by the crows of a rooster and otherwise one only hears the birds chirping. To the beach one walks in 20 minutes, with the Beachcruiser, which can be rented for free, it only takes 10 minutes| Description: Less than 20 metres away from da Silva Surfcamp there is this separate wooden cottage that is ideally suited for people who would like to participate in the sociable hustle and bustle of a surf camp but would like to be able to withdraw at any time. The cottage has a very pleasant indoor climate. During the day it does not get too hot and at night the pleasant warmth of the sun stays in the house.

In the house there is a small television with satellite reception, i.e. you can also watch German television.

Breakfast included. The da Silva Surfcamp is just right for people who want to relax and escape the stress of the big city. It is ideal for families with children.

Around the house there is mainly a lot of rustic nature. You can take wonderful walks along the country lanes. On the other side of the valley is the typical farming village "Zambujeira".

There is nothing but a small café and a mini grocery shop. However, a visit is worthwhile anyway, as it is really still very original there. Once a year, sometime in August, there is a big village festival for which even the great-grandmothers dress up again.

If you want to go out in the evening, you have to go to Praia da Areia Branca or Peniche, but we take you there with our shuttle bus. So you don't have to worry, you won't get bored. Surroundings: In the immediate vicinity of Casal da Murta is Praia da Areia Branca, a typical bathing resort of the Portuguese| Fortunately, there are only very few hotels or holiday resorts here, but in August there is still a lot of activity on the beach, as many Portuguese from the surrounding area come for a swim. There is a lifeguard looking to the right and hundreds of typical beach tents that can be rented for a small fee. Some parts of the beach are guarded by professional lifeguards in summer.

Those who want to escape from this hustle and bustle only have to walk one or two bays along the beach and already they have a bay to themselves again. In Praia da Areia Branca there is a beautiful beach promenade with many small cafés and good restaurants. The place is especially suitable for families with young children, as there is a very nice and manageable nightlife and the contact to the locals is very easy.

The express bus between Peniche and Lisbon stops almost every hour in this place. The county town Lourinhã with big supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, health centre, pharmacies, post office and bank is only 3 km away. Praia da Areia Branca is only 15 km south of the port city of Peniche, whose beaches are the best surfing area in Europe.

The waves of the legendary surf spots Supertubos or Lagido are ridden by surfers from all over the world. Our shuttle bus will take you to the best waves and most beautiful beaches in the area. Some of the nearby bays are so-called Secret Spots, the location of which is reluctantly revealed by the locals (local surfers)| Location and arrival: The surf camp is located 65 km north of Lisbon. The journey from Lisbon airport to us is very easy! There is a shuttle bus to the bus station and from there an express bus that stops directly at our place. We will pick you up at the bus stop and bring you directly to our surf camp.

We also pick you up at the airport in Lisbon or take you there. This makes sense especially if your flight takes place outside the travel times of the express bus. Prices on request.

We offer a daily shuttle to the nearest supermarket and of course to the beach. Bicycles can be rented free of charge. So you are quite mobile even without your own car| Surf school: If you want you can learn to surf quickly and safely from local surfers and get an intensive impression of the Portuguese way of life and culture. Surfing" is an exciting game with the forces of nature. At the same time it is in absolute harmony with nature.

We would like to convey to you the "Spirit of Surfing", which stands for harmony among surfers, respect for nature, the ocean and the culture of the country. How to arrive Coming from Lisbon Airport (the closest one), the cheapest option to reach us is by bus. Upon arrival to the airport, your goal is to reach SETE RIOS Bus Terminal and to get there you can either catch a taxi (+/- 10€) or take the Airport Shuttle. If you didn't combine else check in time at the Beach House is normally on Saturday and in the Surf Camp on Sunday but in both always around 4 o'clock in the afternoon. Aerobus LisboaAerobus The Aeroshuttle is the best way to get from Lisbon Airport to the city center. Arriving at Lisbon airport you take the Aerobus - Line 2, Direction: Financial Center - to the Bus terminal SETE RIOS. The ticket will cost you about 3,60 € and is valid the whole day. So if you arrive in the morning you can still pay Lisbons centre a quick visit before heading towards Praia da Areia Branca. Apart from that there's also the Lisbon Zoo right across the street ... Praia da Areia Branca itself - 2 stops before Peniche - isn't more than a halt on the streets in the middle of the small beach town. Passing through Lourinha - a smaller bus terminal - it's the next exit to come. Please find the bus schedule attached.
