Close to Praia da Peraltas and in the middle of the small municipality Atalaia - approx. 5km south of Praia da Areia Brancas - the direct surroundings of the holiday home Casa Bela Vista with small supermarkets, restaurants and cafes offers all goods of the daily need. Porto das Barcas is another beach in the immediate vicinity.

The village image is characterised by the church in the centre, while the village gradually decreases towards the beach.

The stand itself is more or less as it was created by nature. There is no tourism at all in Atalaia. There are a few small grocery stores, a drugstore, several small cafés and restaurants and even an ATM(!).

To the beach: approx. 20 min walk (1,5 km Porto das Barcas / 1,7 km Peralta) Nearby is Praia da Areia Branca , a typical Portuguese seaside resort. Fortunately, there are very few hotels or holiday resorts here, but in August there is still a lot going on on the beach, as many Portuguese from the surrounding area come for a swim.

There is a lifeguard looking to the right and hundreds of typical beach tents that can be rented for a small fee. Some parts of the beach are guarded by professional lifeguards in summer. Those who want to escape from this hustle and bustle only have to walk one or two bays along the beach and already they have a bay to themselves again| In Praia da Areia Branca there is a beautiful beach promenade with many small cafés and good restaurants. The place is especially suitable for families with young children, as there is a very nice and manageable nightlife and the contact to the locals is very easy. The express bus between Peniche and Lisbon stops almost every hour in this place|The district town of Lourinhã with large supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, health centre, Pharmacies, post office and bank are only 3 km away. A special highlight is the newly opened largest outdoor museum: Dinoparque Lourinhã nearby. Here you will also find the best surf spots in Europe| Other Things to Note: The prices are valid as a total price for up to 4 persons and include the costs for electricity, gas, water, final cleaning, bed linen and towels.
