About Holiday Apartment 1838157 - Athina in Greece
The apartment's chic decor is reminiscent of a Parisian Art Deco-era flat but its amenities are updated and modern. But, it's not in Paris. It's in an elegant building in the middle of Athens, the capital of modern Greece and the ancient world.
The ground-floor apartment comfortably accommodates four guests in two bedrooms, each with double/queen-sized beds. There is one beautifully renovated bathroom. Typical of the building's era, the kitchen is functional, but not too large.
It's adjacent to the living and dining rooms. If you choose, you can prepare your meals if you decide to stay in! You'll find the kitchen well-appointed and fully stocked with all the cooking tools you'll need to cook a meal. The living room enjoys natural light through large windows.
It's spacious and offers plenty of seating so that you can relax while on holiday. You don’t need to stay in a cramped hotel room when you can enjoy life in this elegant spacious apartment. Amenities included are air conditioning and heating, wireless internet, flat-screened television, hangers, and essential toiletries.
It’s family friendly as well! The Neighborhood: This apartment is located in one of Athen's most desirable residential areas: Kolonaki. It is an affluent, upmarket district. It's also one of the city's best shopping districts with plenty of high-end boutiques and shops.
It's where the city's wealthiest residents come to shop. Nearby is one of the area's more famous shopping streets, Voukourestiou, popular with jewelry makers. You'll find several prominent museums and galleries in Kolonaki, including two of the finest private museums in Greece, the Benaki and the Goulandris Museum of Cycladic Art.
There is also the Byzantine Museum and War Museum of Athens. The nightlife alone could keep you busy each night with its plethora of bars, restaurants, and tavernas. Charming outdoor seating along pedestrian-only streets dot the neighborhood.
Don't forget to check out the main Kolonaki Square which is bordered by cafes and restaurants! Kolonaki has the Lycabettus Funicular (probably more fun for children than adults) which links the neighborhood to the Lycabettus Hill summit and two metro stations: Evengelismos and Megaro Mousikis. Getting Around: Athens: The beautiful city of Athens is one of the world’s oldest spanning more than 3,400 years. Ancient monuments and ruins are still evident today with the Parthenon reigning supreme above the city.
The city is home to two UNESCO World Heritage sites: the Acropolis and the medieval Daphni Monastery. House Rules: • No smoking • No pets • Check-in is anytime after 3PM
