Tropical as can be, surprisingly affordable and superbly located in the centre of hip and happening Seminyak, Villa Umara is an idyllic island home for families or a group of friends wanting to stay close to the beach in a popular beach town in Bali. This modernized Balinese-style holiday retreat has 3 bedrooms, a sprawling garden with a private pool and a fabulous open-concept living room with tropical chic interior design. The beach is less than a 10-minute stroll away and around the villa there are many shops, cafes and restaurants to explore.
You are welcomed in the villa’s lovely garden where tropical plants and trees are growing lushly around the swimming pool. On the manicured green grass lawn, there are 2 sunbeds with 1 large parasol to suit those who like to tan and those who want to relax by the poolside out of the sun. There are comfy bean bags placed on the veranda and you can also relax inside on the sofas while enjoying the views of the garden and pool to the sound of rippling water from the Buddha fountain|The living room features a timber floor and crisp white walls and all day long, you get to enjoy fresh air and lovely garden views. The interior design is tropical chic and very elegant with handmade rattan carpets and lamps, carved wooden furniture and ethnic artwork. There are 2 comfortable sofas to curl up with a book or watch movies on the flat-screen TV.
There is a large wooden dining table and there is a modern kitchen with a bar and high chairs. The kitchen is well-equipped with a toaster, blender, juicer, microwave and fridge. Villa Umara houses 3 elegant and comfortable bedrooms.
The master room is upstairs and it is soaked in natural sunlight in the daytime while at night, you can sleep comfortably on the queen-size double bed in air-conditioned comfort. The bed is tucked in fresh white linen and decorative pillows. The hand-carved and painted wooden wardrobe is stunning and the en-suite bathroom features hand-painted tiles, giving it a real exotic look.
The other 2 bedrooms are downstairs, one fitted with a double bed and the other with twin beds configurable into a king-size double bed upon request. Both rooms are designed tastefully with whitewashed wooden furniture, traditional artifacts and each has a private en-suite bathroom to take a shower before sleep.
