The Cuban Ministry of Tourism has decided to finance the purchase and installation of equipment for the wireless network from budget funds. Tourists can enter the worldwide network only in public areas of hotels, but the connection speed there is extremely unsatisfactory. It is assumed that Wi-Fi will be in hotels from next year.

According to local media, Cuba's Minister of Communications, Jose Luis Perdomo D-Lela, said earlier that increasing Wi-Fi technology in hotels is among the most important tasks. According to him, this is one of the most frequent requests of tourists who come to the country.
