Situated in the middle of the small municipality of Atalaia and with direct access to the beaches of Peralta and Porto das Barcas, the surrounding area offers small supermarkets, bars/cafes and restaurants for all your daily needs. With a large outdoor area including parking and barbecue area, the holiday home is particularly suitable for water sports oriented families or groups and their equipment. The Space: on the ground floor: - Large living area with TV - connected kitchen with washing machine and dining area for 6 persons| - courtyard/terrace with barbecue area and garden furniture as well as sun loungers - A double room with single beds - Bathroom with bathtub on the first floor: - A double room with a double bed en suite (private bathroom) and balcony. beyond that: - private parking on the premises The Neighborhood: Atalaia is a typical Portuguese village that actually only happens to stand directly at the Atlantic Ocean. The village image is characterised by the church in the centre, while the village gradually decreases towards the beach.

To the beach: approx. 20 min by foot (1.5 km Porto das Barcas / 1|7 km Peralta) The stand itself is more or less as it was created by nature. There is no tourism at all in Atalaia. There are a few small grocery stores, a drugstore, several small cafés and restaurants and even an ATM(!).

Everything else can be found in the district town of Lourinha, which is only 2 km away. There are bigger supermarkets, banks, post office, hospital, pharmacy, etc.|. Near Atalaia is Praia da Areia Branca, a typical Portuguese seaside resort. Fortunately, there are only very few hotels or holiday resorts here, but in August there is a lot of activity on the beach, as many Portuguese people from the surrounding area come for a swim.

There is a lifeguard looking to the right and hundreds of typical beach tents that can be rented for a small fee. Some parts of the beach are guarded by professional lifeguards in summer. Those who want to escape from this hustle and bustle only have to walk one or two bays along the beach and already they have a bay to themselves again| In Praia da Areia Branca there is a beautiful beach promenade with many small cafés and good restaurants. The place is especially suitable for families with young children, as there is a very nice and manageable nightlife and the contact to the locals is very easy. The express bus between Peniche and Lisbon stops almost every hour in this place.

The district town of Lourinhã with large supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, health centre, Pharmacies, post office and bank are only 3 km away. A special highlight is the newly opened largest outdoor museum: Dinoparque Lourinhã nearby. Here you will also find the best surf spots in Europe| Other Things to Note: Prices are total prices for up to 4 people and include electricity, gas, water, final cleaning, bed linen and towels. Any heating costs will be charged according to consumption. The prices are only valid for bookings of five days or more.
